Do I have to buy only the type of seed listed here from Canada at this time?
Lapeer County Michigan
No, those should be considered a resource only, not a requirement. For those growing in Canada it's a different story, but for growing in Michigan, it is merely a list of varieties that may do well here under our growing conditions and that have historically tested at acceptable THC levels. Between Canada's list of certified seed and lists from other states, you can build a list of those you would want to investigate, obtain a certificate of analysis on, talk with other MI growers to see if anyone has experience growing that variety here, etc.
