What is this?

That is a tomato hornworm, the larvae stage of the Sphinx moth. https://www.almanac.com/pest/tomato-hornworms

More likely a different sphinx moth species, as the markings are too pale for it to be the tomato hornworm. From my experience with raising the larvae of several species, I think it is either a great ash sphinx, waved sphinx, or big poplar sphinx.
