Inheriting a garden...please help!
My husband and I bought a house with a small vegetable garden and a few fruit trees. Having no previous experience, I am looking for a good place to start learning the basics. I want to make sure to treat the plants, trees and soil correctly to help everything thrive. Would you be able to direct me to any beginner's posts, blogs books, classes, videos you consider helpful? I'm grateful for any guidance! Thank you very much for your time.

This is my favorite gardening information page. It includes recommendations and temperature preferences for plants, spacing suggestions, days until germination, etc: http://cmg.colostate.edu/Gardennotes/720.pdf Here is another page with the same information, applied to a sample planting guide: http://cmg.colostate.edu/Gardennotes/721.pdf
Science of Planting trees (*reading through this before planting can prevent a lot of problems down the road): http://cmg.colostate.edu/Gardennotes/633.pdf
Wow! I can't thank you enough for all of this wonderful info. We are about to move in and I'm sure I'll have some more specific questions very soon.
I would definitely be interested in the master gardening program in the future. I will take a look!
Really appreciate all your help.
