Asked July 23, 2019, 11:36 AM EDT

Hi I took him/her out if lg Rubbermaid bin I have to catch rain & places on ground. Would she need to be in there? For laying of eggs, idk if hats possible bcz regularly gets dumped. Was afraid she was stuck in there because it’s 12” deep. She’s a real CUTIE PIE:)) Thank you! #202-258-1582 Sally Wood

It is a good idea to release the toad into the environment. They are well adapted to life on dry land. Here is more information on toads and egg laying. They lay their eggs in water in April and May.
