At a Columbus garden show awhile ago - I talked with an OSU representative about issues with our oak tree leaves turning brown prematurely (see attachment) and that I was told feeding them with iron would help. She did not agree and suggested I contact OSU and request one of your arborists to see the trees and recommend action. I am willing to pay for OSU arborist services - please advise who I can call and schedule a visit. My home location is in Pickerington, Ohio.

I am not sure who she is referring to as an arborist. We don't have arborists who go out to private homeowner sites to make determinations. We have a diagnostic lab that you can send samples to. They will look over the sample and try to make a determination as to what is going on with the tree. Information on the clinic and how to send in samples is located here https://ppdc.osu.edu/

Your other option is to hire a certified arborist to take a look at the tree. A list of certified arborists can be found here https://www.treesaregood.org/ - there is a tab at the top of the page that says 'find an arborist'.

Hopefully one of these options will yield a diagnosis of exactly what is going on with the tree.
