Hydrangeas that used to flower??

Asked July 15, 2019, 6:20 PM EDT

I have former beautiful hydrangeas, red and pink varieties with stronger green leaves. For many years they have bloomed beautifully, suddenly this year there are no blooms at all. Is there anything that I can feed them to regain the blooms? I also have a lighter thinner leaf variety that bloom blue. These have less blooms than previous years. Others are just fine, so I don’t think it was a weather issue.

Thank you for your question. Without knowing what variety you are growing, or your care of the plants, I can give you only the following link to an Extension from a neighbor state: https://extension.psu.edu/why-doesnt-my-hydrangea-bloom Hope this is helpful. Good luck!
