I am sorry you lost your pets. The regulatory agency responsible for pesticides in Texas is the Texas Department of Agriculture. If you have a legitimate herbicide drift or misuse complaint you can contact them, if it cannot be resolved. George Aguilar is the Chief Pesticide Inspector for our area. The number I have for him is (800) 909-8167 or Gcorge.Aguilar@TexasAgriculture.gov. They can help with testing if warranted or point you in the direction of an independent lab if you want to submit your own samples. It is probably unlikely that roundup caused the death of your cats though. The LD50 of glyphosate is 5,600 mg/kg according to the Merck Veterinary Manual, so they would have had be in contact with a tremendous amount of it. I know glyphosate has been on the news a lot lately and there is increased concern about the use of this product. In March 2015, IARC classified glyphosate as Group 2a “probably causes cancer”. This put it the same category as red meat and in the category below “know carcinogens” like bacon and salami. Here is some general information about glyphosate: http://publications.tamu.edu/WEEDS_HERBICIDES/Glyphosate-092018.pdf Regards,
