Plant identification

Asked July 15, 2019, 9:22 AM EDT

Could you please identify this plant. The birds have planted several bushes this year that I can not identify. This plant had white flowers when it was in bloom. Thank you.

Elko County Nevada

I think you are seeing a seedling from possibly a type of Bush Honeysuckle or Tatarian honeysuckle, Lonicera tatarica L. I'm not absolutely positive, but the leaf arrangement and the fruit attachment is correct. Typically fruit is either red or orange.
I have attached a few information for you to read. The form will be different as the is a seedling and most information sheets will show mature plants, but this is definitely one that would be spread by birds and is native to the area.
