I'm trying to identify this bird. I'm in Columbus Ohio. It is in my yard and incapable of flying more than about 10 feet.

Franklin County Ohio birds bird identification

I'm still working on identifying the bird, however, it may be a bird that has recently left it's nest (a fledgling) and is learning the ropes of flying. If this is the case, the parents are not far away. Keep your eye on it, and if it doesn't leave the area by end of day/is not visited by parents, contact a wildlife rehabilitator (http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/portals/wildlife/pdfs/species%20and%20habitats/Ohio%20DOW%20Wildlife%20R...) as it may be injured.

I believe this is an immature European starling. Like I said above, it's likely just left the nest and it's parents are likely close by.
