EAB is it too Late

Asked July 14, 2019, 3:08 PM EDT

I have multiple Ash trees that are totally devoid of foliage this year. I don't remember if they had any last year. I see holes in the tree, that leads me to believe it is Emerald Ash Borer. How do I know if it is too late to treat. I have about 6 acres in Montgomery county and I see a lot of my trees are without foliage this year. Thanks

Unfortunately your ash trees are dead, as are any that didn't leaf out this year. The invasive Emerald Ash Borer is killing ash at an advanced clip.
It is too late to treat once symptoms are advanced.
