What is happening to my raspberries

Asked July 3, 2019, 4:36 PM EDT

I noticed the other day that my raspberries that are new this year have something going on. The leaves are curling up starting at the top of the plant. There is no sign of discoloring at the beginning and then it eventually kills the whole cane. What do I do to stop this? A few canes do have a lighter color to them but they are not experiencing the leaves rolling up. Is this another problem?

Thank you for your question. Our advice is that you contact your own county Extension office, where staff are equipped to examine plant tissue, and are familiar with local issues. Here is their webpage: https://extension.usu.edu/davis/ Good luck!
