Do you know what fungi is all over the twin cities lawn/ parks this summer. Are they toad stools/ mushrooms and are they harmful for pets? They are every where!

Mushroom fruiting bodies proliferate when conditions are suitable, and warm, moist weather favors many species. The mushrooms shown in the photos are probably a Coprinus sp. but we can't be sure by viewing photos. Mushroom identification should be left to experts. Some Coprinus mushrooms are poisonous and some are not.
