it looks like white moss on my plants and trees

Hi there, can you tell me what this is and what I need to do to remedy? It is on several of my trees and bushes.....

Hello!

This is lichen, which is an organism that is formed by the combination of an algae and a fungus. It will not harm your trees or shrubs--it is simply using them for support. Because they are considered harmless, no control mechanisms are recommended. Physical removal is possible, though that would risk damage to the plants on which they are growing.
