This moth is not included in my Field Guide to the Nature of the Midwest. What do you think it is?

According University of Minnesota Extension Entomologist Jeff Hahn the insect is probably a noctuid moth which is a large common family (perhaps more than 2,000 species). It will be difficult to get any more specific.
