Can you help identify this weed?

This summer, a large weed has been growing at the corner of my garden bed where I have a perennial shade garden. It's about 5 ft tall, with fuzzy, serrated leaves. I don't believe it is Giant Hog Weed, but I am afraid to pull it out on my own for fear of burns. Are you able to identify it, and let me know how I should remove it?

This is not hogweed. It's one of the sowthistles, probably spiny sowthistle. Just pull it up before it goes to seed. Wear gloves because, as you can see, it is a prickly weed.
