Leopard plants (Fargugium japonicum) are lush, interesting shade plants with stunning dark green foliage and bright yellow aster-like flowers in the fall. As shade plants, in the sun they will wilt and the leaves burn, which looks like what happened to your leaf. They like moist rich soil with organic matter, and need to be kept well-watered, especially when it's hot and dry. Did you know they are also called the "tractor seat plant" because of the shape of the leaf. This article has additional information, Leopard Plant https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/leopard-plant/.
