Does the county lend traps that can catch beavers?
A beaver is making his home in our backyard (so it seems, anyway). We have a fish pond, which may be why he has decided to live under our ground-level deck--just 20-30 feet from our pond!. Are there county services that can help out in this situation? It was already hard enough o sleep, worrying about the herons who visit from time to time,... and now beavers?! near hospital Drive

The county does not lend traps for wildlife. Take a look at the attached link. https://www.aacounty.org/services-and-programs/nuisance-wildlife-trapping
This is not our area of expertise. We suggest that you contact the Nuisance Wildlife Information Line for the best way to proceed and handle the situation. USDA wildlife operators will offer information on how to deal with nuisance wildlife and sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife.
