Shrub issue

Asked June 10, 2019, 9:42 PM EDT

We have seven boxwood Chicagoland green shrubs that line the front of our landscaping. Two appear to have died. Do we need to replace all seven? Do they have a disease? Thank you for your help!

Most likely what you are experiencing is winter injury (compare to images on the link below) and you should have no problem with replacing them. The disease that effects boxwood isn't currently found in Minnesota.
