Red leave rhubarb

Once I have remove the rhubard , how can I use the area to plant something else . And how to treat the sol . Pierrette B.

Thank you for your question. Rhubarb is a perennial plant, and will continue to produce leaves year after year. I am uncertain why you are removing it. Assuming you get the entire plant out of the soil, there is no reason to “treat” the soil, except to add well composted organic material.
