Columbine

These are leaves from 2 different plants. They are near each other in the garden. What is wrong? One looks like it might be insect damage but I don’t see any.

Columbine is beginning to die back right now. The yellow leaf is just older foliage. But, you are correct the one leaf shows leafminer damage, a very common insect pest of columbine. It is not a serious pest but does cause cosmetic damage. Please see the following information from our website,
