Yellowing Boxwoods

Asked June 7, 2019, 5:17 PM EDT

Hi! I have a hedge of boxwoods that are well established for about 5 years now. They are turning yellow from the center out. The stems still have green on the inside. About a month ago I had mulching done and had them shaped. Any ideas? I have read about winter injury and root rot. Thank you!

Thanks for the question.

I believe that this recent University of Minnesota publication should answer your questions:
