Leyland cypress has white spots,

Asked June 7, 2019, 12:35 PM EDT

and it also has brown branches. I know the brown branches can be caused by an extremely cold winter, but are the white spots an indication of disease? If so, how should they be treated? I don't have a picture. Thanks, Margaret

Sorry, but without photos, it is difficult to say what is going on with your Leyland cypress. You can attach 3 digital photos to this response. If not tell us more about the white spots. Are they on the needles or on the bark? I am sending you to some information to look at. Hope this helps,
