plant a flower, invite a bee for lunch
The bees in my hives need copious nectar starting in April. What fast growing trees and perrennal flura in part shade with moist soil can meet their needs in Bethesda?
In the spring nectar from trees supplies about 60-90% of the honey produced. Full honey boxes are removed by July 7th. After spring nectar tapers off.
