homemade bug and snail spray for plants and flowers

My friend took a class OSU master gardening. She shared a bug spray you make with mint and garlic. Does it work for snails, slugs and earrings? I'm against pesticides.

Thank you for your question. Anything that kills a pest is a pesticide. I assume you want to use organic methods. I am unaware of any insect spray ‘recipe’ such as you are describing, although some containing oil are described here: https://extension.colostate.edu/docs/pubs/insect/05569.pdf The following article has slug and snail control methods, many organic: http://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7427.html Do you mean earwigs? If so, here is a similar article on their control: http://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn74102.html I hope these are helpful. Good luck.
