Question about canning whiskey infused honey.
I've been making a whiskey infused honey with 1 cup of honey, 1 bay leaf, and 1/4 cup whiskey, which I typically heat on the stove and then store in the fridge. If I were to water bath process this recipe for 10 minutes, would it be something that's shelf-stable? Thanks for your help!
Sounds delicious! Unfortunately we do not have canning instructions for whiskey infused honey. Your best bet is to continue refrigerating. Clemson University has some helpful tips for making herb infused honey which could be stored at room temperature and then mixed with whiskey when you are ready to use.
