I own a tea room in Elk Horn, Iowa called Pleasant Thymes. Every 1st Saturday of each month we do a prime-rib or salmon dinner with a theme. On June 1st, we want to recognize "World Milk Day". I'm going to ask a local dairy farmer and his father if they would speak for 20 minutes on generational milking. Does the ISU extension service offer any brochures or special speakers for this world topic? The evening meal, except the meat, will include some form of dairy. Every patron will receive a containier of milk, and our music entertainment will be consisting of old songs about cows and milk. Anything you can add would be fantastic. Thank you so much! Hi, you might want to contact the Iowa Dairy Association as they may have some brochures you could distribute. You might want to contact someone on this site as well.
