What is the best way to keep creeping charlie from the yard out of the vegetable garden?

If it is not already in your vegetable garden, monitor and pull it as you find it.

Unfortunately, creeping Charlie is difficult to control if already established in the vegetable garden. However, if your vegetable garden is not yet in (whose is?), you could use glyphosate (Roundup) to kill the Charlie, then, after it is dead, pull it out. This may delay planting a week or two. Otherwise, you will have to resort to hand-pulling.

As always with herbicides, read and follow the label.
