It is taking over my garden! I plant organic. Do you have any suggestions on how to tame it?

Ground ivy is a perennial plant and is difficult to control.
For a vegetable garden or ornamental bed you could consider using a barrier (e.g., raised bed, edging material) to contain its spread into your planting areas and keep after it by hand pulling/digging. That is the safest method of control.

Take a look at the options listed on our webpage for ground ivy management in lawns. https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/ground-ivy
