Fox in residence

Asked May 2, 2019, 2:54 PM EDT

I have a red fox which does not appear to be afraid of me. It watches me while I cut grass on my riding mower. I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet. I have not seen any evidence but I think it may have kits. It has taken up residence in holes dug by groundhogs. I see that it has killed at least one of the groundhogs. I would like to relocate the groundhogs too. In addition, what can I do to have the fox relocated? .

Please refer to the information from the Anne Arundel County government regarding nuisance wildlife trapping. https://www.aacounty.org/services-and-programs/nuisance-wildlife-trapping There is a number you can call for assistance to find an approved wildlife control contractor.

Here also is our fact sheet on how to deal with various types of nuisance wildlife.
