Farm land lease costs

Asked May 1, 2019, 2:18 PM EDT

Hello. I am curious as to how much farm land leases for. For example, how much per acre can one get for Woodburn Silt loan and other Woodburn soils? If I had 30 acres to lease?

Lease rates can be variable as there are many factors involved. You didn't mention irrigation capability, this can greatly affect rates. Woodburn soils are generally good soils, so this may increase rates some. Other things that are important include infrastructure, access, intended use, etc. You may want to peruse the Capitol Press for current rates in the region. Some example ranges for our area are between $100-200/A for unirrigated to $200-400/A for irrigated.
