Books on Native Plants in Maryland

Asked April 30, 2019, 7:46 PM EDT

I was hoping you could suggest a book, website, place anything that could identify what I have growing in my native garden. I lost all my identifying cards and it's hard to just look at pictures without seeing the leaves too since some are just leaves now. Big enough pictures too. Hope this makes sense! Thank you!

Here are some suggestions. Take a look at the Maryland Native Plant Society Website. They have a discussion group that you may be interested in. Also, there are lists for plant enthusiasts.

Other sources include: The Wildflower Guide by Lawrence Newcomb
Native Trees, Shrubs, & Vines by William Cullina
Growing & Propagating Wildflower of the US & Canada by William Cullina
Some of the references do not have a lot of photos so you may want to check the books in the library first.
