Hello Sally,
Ask an Expert does not allow us to attach PDFs. If you give us your direct email address by calling us at 802-656-5421, we can then send you a list of plants that are deer resistant in Vermont and another list of plants that are salt tolerant in Vermont, both as attachments. This information comes from a very useful book< Landscape Plants for Vermont, published by the University of Vermont Extension that can be ordered through this link on the Master Gardener website: https://www.uvm.edu/sites/default/files/Extension-Master-Gardener/LandscapeBookOrderForm.pdf You can find this information on pages 95 and 96. I know this book can be very helpful to Vermont gardeners.

Good luck!
