Ornamental grass trimming

What is the best time to cut ornamental grasses at 6000 feet? How short should they be trimmed?

Hi,

Usually grasses are cut back before new growth begins in the spring. So you should be able to do it now. The height depends on how big the grass is but usually around 12 inches. Here’s a link to info about grasses.
