This just popped up in our back yard. As we've had several invasive species come up, wanted to check

Montgomery County Maryland weeds plant identification invasive

This is an invasive plant called garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata). The first year it is just low leaves and the second year it grows tall and blooms with white flowers. Pull all you see and dispose of them in the trash.

You will find details on our website (https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/garlic-mustard) and in our video: https://marylandgrows.umd.edu/2019/04/16/garlic-mustard-invasive-plant-in-maryland-featured-video/.
