One died last spring first thing. Let it go for the summer. Went to replace it this spring and noticed the one next do it starting the process. What is it? And should I remove and replant?
Northampton County Pennsylvania arborvitae
Thank you for your question. The primary reason we are seeing these dieoffs is due to warmer, drier summers. However, I think you could get more area-specific input from your state’s Extension program, and suggest you contact them directly here: https://extension.psu.edu/northampton-county Good luck!
