Fruit flies are often a symptom of something hiding in your kitchen or pantry. Rotting fruit, an old potato under the sink, a seeping jar of canned jelly. Eleiminate all rotting fruit and that will be the beginning of the process. https://entomology.ca.uky.edu/ef621
