Peach tree leaves glued closed.

I've seen a similar post to this question but it did not get a definitive answer with the extension also agreeing it isn't leaf curl so I'm trying to find if there's new info or if someone has the answer to what's going on with this. The previous post mentioned a spider.

Thank you for your question. Since both pathogens and insect differ from region to region, the problems you have in Florida may be different from those we have in Oregon, although we also grow peach trees. Here is the Florida Extension publication with a list of bacterial and fungal issues FL peach trees face: https://sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/media/sfylifasufledu/lake/docs/fruit-production/pdf/Peach-Diseases-2018.pd...

This Mississippi Extension article describes both disease and insect issues: http://extension.msstate.edu/publications/disease-and-insect-control-for-homegrown-peaches-and-plums

I suggest you contact your county Extension office directly, to see if there are more recent information to help you. Here is their contact information: https://www.pascocountyfl.net/3389/Cooperative-Extension

Good luck!
