Corn Gluten weed control

Asked March 23, 2019, 6:36 PM EDT

I am interested in any input on how corn gluten can be used to deter weeds in my lawn, and specifically, clarification on the effectiveness of this product on crab grass and creeping Charlie. I am also interested in resources you could provide on this product around preferred brands and where to purchase. Thank you Bonny Paetznick

Corn gluten meal and products containing corn gluten have been used in weed control. This link was produced by the University of Minnesota Extension Office in 2008 and provides a listing of chemicals effective on various types of weeds, some of which include corn gluten.

Good luck!
