Determining garden pH

Best way to determining blue berry soil pH

Santa Fe County New Mexico

Blueberries prefer acidic soils (pH 4.5-5.5). In New Mexico most soils are quite alkaline or basic (6.5-8.4), so it is very difficult to grow blueberries successfully there without growing them in a container filled with an acidic soil mix. You can determine the pH of your garden soil through soil testing (https://aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/_a/A146/welcome.html). I hope this answers your question.
