This plant was bought many years ago but I have forgotten its name. It is a shade plant, evergreen with elongated leaves in a whirl or cluster. Each leaf has a visible line going down the leaf. It blooms in the early spring. The bloom is an elongated line of white flowers. It is a typical plant in local nurseries. It is now just getting ready to bloom. I guess it will bloom in April. Thank you for your help.
This plant is called Japanese Andromeda (Pieris japonica). Here is a link to more information about it. http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?kempercode=e680
