Soil remediation for Blueberry PH

Asked March 7, 2019, 7:51 PM EST

I need to find sources for sulfur, compost, and peat moss in the Barbourville area to fix soil in preparation for planting blueberries that need a 4.8 to 5.2 ph. My farm is at Cannon. I am looking for help in tilling and mounding the planting beds.

most Blueberries are planted n soil rather than beds because our soils n Knox Co tend to be naturally acidic soil samples are free at the extension office and I recommend a sample so the current ph and nutrient recommendations can be determined for the blueberries if you have any questions feel free to call the office at (606)546-3447
