DYNAMITE CREPE MYRTLE

I PLANTED MY DYNAMITE CREPE MYRTLE ABOUT 5-6 FEET UP HILL FROM MY SEWER PIPE FIXTURE. THE HILL IS ON A SLIGHT DECLINE. IT IS 3 YEARS AND HAS HAD 2 DIE BACKS. SHOULD I CUT IT DOWN SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS. CAN IT BE DUG UP AND MOVED? THANK YOU JANICE

Your placement of the tree about 5-6 feet from the sewer pipe should not be an issue. Many crape myrtles suffered winter damage in past years, so that might be a reason for the dieback you saw. See if your tree leafs out as normal this year and if it looks healthy. If you see any symptoms of problems, please send us photos of the tree.
