can you store bags of bulbs that are featured in stores now and if so will they still be in usable condition when it is the appropriate time to plant them.

Yes, you can purchase bulbs now and store them for planting after your last frost. Keep them in a cool location in your home (50-55 degrees F is ideal). They should not be left out in a shed or garage where they can freeze. Keep them out of direct sun and make sure they get good air circulation to prevent mold. If they are in plastic bags when you purchase them, transfer them to a paper bag to help with air circulation.
