Douglas County Oregon soil testing

If it is for a backyard garden and not a commercial garden you can bring a soil sample to the OSU Extension office in the old church annex next to the county courthouse off Douglas Ave. You will need two cups of dry soil in a sturdy paper or plastic bag. Drop the samples at our front desk. The cost is $20 per sample.

The D.C. Coop will also do soil tests that cost more but will include macro and micro nutrient levels. The Master Gardeners test only for macro nutrients. Our office is open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. You will need to pay with check or cash.
