How can I cure mycoplasma gallisepticum in back yard poultry, if yes what is the best and effective antibiotics should I use, and how fast does the infection spread.?

The antibiotic to use is tylan. Unfortunately it is not always 100% effective against MG. What you may see is a remission of the symptoms however once the birds become stressed the symptoms will be noticeable. My recommendation would be to eradicate the infected flock and sanitize the equipment and coop. However if that isn't practical then you can try the antibiotic.

As for how fast it spreads it is fairly quick, since it is spread by aerosolized droplets when the birds cough.

Hope this helps
