pH need of Schipka (skip) laurel

I want to plant a skip Laurel in my property in Hawthorne Nevada. I want to know what the growing requirements in Mineral Co.for Schipka (skip) laurel are.

Skip Laurel or Prunus laurocerasus ‘Schipkaensis’ prefer rich or high in organic soils with consistent moisture during the summer months. The pH requirement is about 4 to 7.3 and a soil type of sandy, loam to clay loam. You may need to add amendments and top dress with compost to increase the organic matter of you soil.
