Crocuses or something else?

Asked January 24, 2019, 3:35 PM EST

Hello, Recently a plant that I don't recognize began popping up all over my garden. This started perhaps a month ago, which seems like a strange time for anything to emerge. It's not unattractive, but if it's an invasive species I would like to know now, so that I can remove it before it spreads any more. I was thinking that perhaps they are crocuses, but I don't remember seeing any in the area last spring, and suddenly these are everywhere. I have attached a few pictures. Thanks so much for your help. Cheers, James

These look like the early growth of daffodil bulbs of some type, so leave them and enjoy.
