What types of tree’s

I have two questions. What kind of oak is the first picture? What kind of tree is the second picture? I know oaks are good for wild life but is the second tree good also.

The oak leaf is likely from a black oak tree, Quercus velutina.

The other tree appears to be a basswood, Tilia americana.
It does have wildlife value - mostly to small mammals and birds. You can read more about it here:
