Soil testing

I live in Arnold ,Maryland and wanted to know if you test for lead in the soil ? I live off a major highway. Also can you do soil testing in January? Thanks

You can test for lead contamination in your soil, and can do it in January as long as the ground is not frozen, making getting samples out very difficult. (You take 8 about 4-6 inches down).

The lab chart shows that the basic test from U Mass includes lead (Pb)
but you can check websites of the labs to confirm.
