Indoor insect pest of bulbs

Asked January 7, 2019, 1:28 PM EST

We have a small fly ( smaller than a fruit fly), that shows up when we bring our Amaryllis and other bulbs in for the winter. They don't seem to do any damage, but are irritating. Any information on their control would be appreciated.

The flies might be fungus gnats.
